Kunkuru Farm consist of 1700ha of pristine bushveld. Open savannah dotted with tree islands, dense thickets and riversine areas, makes this ideal habitat for bow hunting. Mainly plainsgame endemic to the area are hunted at Kunkuru.
These include but are not limited to Kudu, Nyala, Wildebeast, Zebra, Impala, Duiker, Steenbuck, Warthdog, Red Hartbeast, Eland and Gemsbuck. Giraffe and dangerous game can be hunted by prior arrangement.
Kunkuru has 10 strategically positioned blinds (tree, elevated & pit) “Walk In” blinds are erected for special hunts.
“Walk & Stalk” hunts can be arranged for the experienced hunters. There is nothing like experiencing a hunt in the same way our forefathers used to tackle their prey. As mentioned before, this is for the experienced hunter only that is looking for an alternative to the point-and-pull-the-trigger method.
Skinning and field preperation for all trophies are done on the premises. Saltrooms and Coldrooms are available as well as an equipped butchery 8km from the farm for all meat processing.
